The Central Delivery Coordination Unit (CDCU) was set up on the directive of President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR to coordinate the activities of MDAs towards the delivery of the Federal Governments 9 Priority Areas, through tracking and reporting of performance against Ministerial Mandates and Outcome level results.
The CDCU provides the frame for supporting the Federal Government to assess the impact of its projects, programmes and policies towards meeting the strategic objectives of the Adminsitration. The CDCU works with MDAs to understand bottlenecks and challenges affecting delivery and presenting them at the highest level of government for resolution. We also track results to determine value for money and the impact at scale to the last mile for the citizenry.
The CDCU supports tracking progress against a select number of priorities through collecting, analyzing, and routinely reporting on priority projects by documenting issues and resolutions.
"Support Government in tracking and reporting on top priority projects by identifying key bottlenecks and enablers that can enhance the achievement of outcomes and commitments of the Federal Government to the citizenry"
"To be the one-stop-shop for tracking priority government projects and programs, their feasibility and impact value at scale. Addressing delivery capacity gaps within the public sector"
The CDCU performs assessments around the implementation of the 9 Priority Areas through the following approaches.
